The Worship Ministry exists to lead
people in experiencing God "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23-24)
through "psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs" (Ephesians 5:19-20)
using multiple musical styles and various art forms to create a vibrant
atmosphere of worship to God. For more information about any of our worship
ministries, please contact Pastor Love Saquing
at lovesaquing@yahoo.com or via
the church office.
- Worship Bands:
The worship bands practice alternating Thursdays 7-9pm and
8:45-9:30am the following Sunday. The bands use vocals and instrumentation -
contemporary (e.g., guitars, bass guitar, keyboard, drums, percussion) and
traditional (e.g., piano, woodwind, brass, strings) - to lead worship in music
ranging from traditional hymn arrangements and gospel songs to modern worship
songs.
- Senior Choir: The senior choir consists
of adults and youth of all ages, rehearsing Thursday evenings from 7-9pm
in the Psalms Room (middle building) and joining the worship
band 8:45am on choir Sundays to put it all together. The senior choir
sings various choral styles including sacred classical music, traditional hymn
arrangements, and contemporary choral arrangements. If you are interested in
joining, please contact Jim Ruskowsky or Wendy Mir.
- Children's Choir: The children's choir
meets on scheduled Sundays
for about a half hour after the worship service. Tess Vital is the
children's choir director.
